This unusual set of symbol cups and saucers consists of three cups and saucers, each marked with a number on the bottom. A single cup and saucer is only part of the set, and because the cups and the suc errs are both backstamped with their numbers, a mismatched set is not worth purchasing, except to give away to a novice collector when you finally acquire a proper set.

These cups and saucers were premiums sold with Red Rose brand tea. They were manufactured in England by the Taylor and Kent pottery and came with their own instruction booklet.
