Generally speaking, the patterns were applied to six different seven different cup shapes, and i have coded them accordingly in the Museum, for reference purposes.

  • AA = Aynsley Small cup shape, top-marked for the Australian Pavilion at the British Empire Exhibition, Wembley, London, England, dated 1924-1925
  • AC = Aynsley Doris cup shape with modern C-Handle and black back-stamp
  • AD = Aynsley Doris cup shape with ornate handle and green backstamp
  • AJ = Aynsley Japanese cup shape
  • AO = Aynsley Oban cup shape with blue backstamp
  • AS = Aynsley Small cup shape with green backstamp, not top-marked
  • AW = Aynsley Small cup shape with green backstamp, top-marked for the British Empire exhibition, Wembley, London, England, dated 1924-1925
