This set was originally marketed in a clear plastic box with a small box of tea inside. Its name is "Tea Shop Tea Reading Set," but as soon as one opens the packaging and discards the label, that identification disappears. There is no maker's mark.
Very little can be learned about this British set. The transfer designs are blue on a cream or ivory body and there are seven symbols on the saucer. The cup is plain except for a blue stripe and there are no backstamps on either the cup or saucer. It probably was sold during the 1990s or early 2000s.
The Tea Shop Tea Reading Set set came with an instruction booklet titled "Reading Tea Leaves." The seven symbols on the saucer are:
