China Tea Garden, Salt Lake City, UT, interior, 1941, press photo by the Salt Lake Tribune staff. The pictures on the back and side walls are advertising art posters showing pretty young Chinese women. These were printed in Hong Kong and Singapore during the 1930s - 1940s and are the equivalent of American "calendar girl" art of the same time period. Published by Utah State History; digitized by Gerald R. Sherratt Library, Southern Utah University; hosted by the J. Willard Marriott Library, University of Utah. Thanks to Erin Nichole Handy for locating this one.
