This post-World War Two cartomancy cup and sandwich plate saucer]] combination bears an unknown Flying Bird maker's mark and is also marked Made in Japan. It does not have iron-red alphanumeric backstamps like Ucagco and Ardalt-Lenwile imports do, but the gilded backstamp style is reminiscent of the unknown Japan Crossed Laurel Leaves maker. The six-petal lotus foot on the cup is a common style shared by many Japanese potteries.
