The Sun Parlor Tea Room at the Young Women's Christian Association (YWCA), Dallas, Texas, circa 1920; postcard front. Note the open-weave rattan furnishings, which are similar to those found in the 1909 view of the Copper Kettle Tea Room in Los Angeles, California. The presence of a bed in the middle of a tea room is unique to this photo; the implication is that it was placed there for the use of someone in the YWCA who was infirm but was still considered a member of the tea room's social set
