The Mystic Teacup was patented in 1949 by Marguerite Scott. It carries both USA and a Canadian patent numbers, and, as stated on the instruction sheet, it was issued without a saucer. The user was directed to employ "any white saucer" if one was desired. Due to the dual nation patent numbering, it is not possible at this time to assign it to the Made in the USA category.
