Ye Olde McCormick Tea House, Baltimore, MD, chrome, postcard front, circa 1960. This is one of several chrome-era postcards photographed at the headquarters of McCormick spice and tea company, also known as Bee Brand, and McCormick-Schilling. The tea room was open to the public, and the guests were served by young white women dressed in a Hollywood approximation of Colonial era dress. Here we see two company executives being served by the "lady in blue and pink," in front of the fireplace, on the mantel of which is carved the company slogan, "If you make the best, Someone will buy it."
