Each pattern (e.g. Baroque Roses) should have a hub page (see Baroque Roses for typesetting (wiki layout) style)
Each pattern (e.g. Baroque Roses) should have a hub page with working links to each known (photographed) shape (e.g. Doris) for that pattern -- some will have several shapes (e.g. Doris, Small, Wembley, Oban, C-Handled, etc.)
If only one shape (e.g. Doris) is known to exist (has been photographed) for a pattern, still follow this layout.
All photographed Aynsley images are filed in TEA CUPS RAW IMAGES in individual file folders named by pattern (e.g. Baroque Roses).
To implement this, you will rename the canonical image folders at Sun Brimmer.
Currently, the file names at Son Brimmer are verbal, e.g. Aynsley Baroque Roses Wembley and Aynsley Baroque Roses Small.
Currently the last 4 digits of the SKUs in the database follow the format: Maker, Shape, Pattern, e.g Aynsley Baroque Roses Wembley = AWBR.
In order to keep the patterns of the file names at Sun Brimmer (e.g. Baroque Roses) together in alphabetical order, please render the maker name (e.g. Aynsley) in full words, followed by the pattern's two-letter SKU (e.g. BR), followed by the shape's one-letter SKU (e.g. W), followed by the remainder of the original verbal file name. This should result in files with names like
- Aynsley BR S Baroque Roses Small
- Aynsley BR W Baroque Roses Wembley
They will then alphabetize correctly by pattern name and within the pattern name groups they will sub-alphabetize by shape or top-mark.
They will then also accord to the names of the pages at the Mystic Tea Room, e.g. Aynsley Baroque Roses Wembly = ABRW
At a future time we may wish to re-make the SKUs in the database, at ShopSite, on the catalogue pages, and on the individual Mystic Tea Room pages to accord with this ordering of the elements which gives primacty to patterns over shapes, e.g. ABRW instead of the current AWBR.
