The Book Barn Tea Room and Book Shop, Ridgefield, Connecticut, interior, RPPC, postcard front. Although no tea service is shown, and the table is covered with books, the message on the back identifies the Book Barn as a book-shop-themed tea room. It was built in 1900 but putting two barns together with a connecting structure. It functioned as a private dwelling with an attached book shop tea room until the late 1940s. The structure still stands on its 3 acre property at 7 Wilton Road and was put up for sale in 2020 as an estate, which it surely is.

The message reads, "Dear Vic — The car ran beautifully coming home and we got home before dark, even stopping off at this tea room, called the "Book Barn. It is an old barn that someone has fixed up by putting in a fireplace and lining it with plaster board between the beams, but so all the hand hewn beams sow, and there are books everywhere. You'd love it."
